We partner Indigenous knowledge and western science to secure a sustainable future for Australia's coastlines.

We value the contribution that Indigenous Peoples provide to coastal sustainability and place the respect of this knowledge and its knowledge-holders at the centre of what we do. Coastal Connections bridges Indigenous leaders with community, scientists, government organisations and the general public to generate awareness of the richness of Indigenous knowledge and the importance of the coast. We facilitate consultation between diverse collaborators to encourage innovation using Indigenous knowledge.
